Manuel Neri

Manuel Neri is a fantastic sculptor who lead, almost solely by himself, the sculpture of the Bay Area Figurative Movement. He takes pride in describing the figure and poses with a gestural but revealing quality. Texture functions as a concentration for him, in which the female figure becomes his vessel or platform.
